If you live on the other side of the world (Australia) to most awesome deals you see for games on the net don’t freak out. It seems that The Pal Gaming Network has the hook up. They have posted a feature on games going CHEAP in the land of OZ. Here are some of my favourites. HARVEY NORMAN: PlayStation 3 bundle (includes PS3 console and Killzone 2): $688 WOW – Sight and Sound Nintendo DS bundle (includes Nintendo DS Lite [...]

Who here isn’t sick of zombie games? Me, that’s who. Just as I thought The House of the Dead was all I could take after the countless hours lost in Left 4 Dead, talk of this gem washing up on our shores began. For all those who played though left 4 Dead and wondered why Zoey isn’t in a bikini, ‘Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers’ will answer that question.  You take your pick of a sexy sister and start hacking away [...]

The following excerpt taken from the World of Warcraft message boards, posted by Jeffrey Kaplan, doesn’t really give an insight into what Blizzard may be up to but does let us know they are not just sitting on Lich King. It seems they have taken one of the key figures off Wow and onto their newest project. Personally, he was one of my favourite developers and knowing he is so heavily involved makes me nervous. I really wanted some of [...]

If you’re like me, an Aussie who listens to Rebel FM (click the eat.sleep.game link on the right dummy) and wanted in on the ground floor for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth you’re in luck. As you may have realised direct2drive.com sucks balls and won’t give us our copies ’cause we’re Australian. Racists. Ha ha! I have found the answer however. Go to Gameplanet and get your copy for $22.16 AUS. It’s only about 5 dollars to [...]

This trailer really should be mandatory for any Wii owner who loves zombies, Sega and killing Sega zombies. This game has it all. I’m a fan of the older HOTD games so I was excited to see this coming soon. When I saw the trailer, I became even more excited, then passed out. Coming to Australia on the 19th of February.

I always enjoy listening to GoNintendo talk shop but now they bring a serious issue to my attention. Winter, a suvival-horror game for the Wii has no publisher and no way of getting to the legions of fans waiting to make these types of videogames lucrative again for Nintendo. And while my love for the Wii has dropped, my faith in Nintendo hasn’t. All the Wii needs to reach the ‘core’ community again are titles like these. If you are [...]

I just got word of this from my reliable source and reviewer, Geoff Larsen, who sent me a text proclaiming the banning of World of Warcraft in Australia. He called the move “so dumb” and I couldn’t agree more. Here are excerpts from IGN: “Australian retailers will no longer be allowed to sell any online game that has not been classified by the Australian Classification Board…titles that don’t contain a single-player experience, and therefore did not apply for classification.” Think [...]
